An expired tag helped officers put a convicted felon back in jail on Wednesday.
Tulsa police say Jamie Lambert was pulled over near the 193rd East Avenue Exit. It turned out, not only was the truck's tag expired, but the vehicle was also stolen.
Lambert told officers she received the truck several days earlier and has been in possession of the vehicle ever since.
Additionally, police found a handgun inside the truck. Lambert is a convicted felon, which makes possessing a handgun a felony.
The truck wasn't the only stolen item in Lambert's possession. Officers also discovered three stolen checks inside her purse.
She was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.
