In Walmart parking lot, cops arrest man with two-day old gunshot wound

Injuries not life threatening

Cops were called to the store to check out a suspicious person. They found Christopher Longoria wearing a camo jacket and body armor. When they began searching Longoria, things got very interesting.

The Tribune says cops recovered a gun, a digital scale, meth, Hydrocodone, ammo, and rifle bipods. Then, they found a gunshot wound.

An arresting deputy spotted blood on the man's jacket. KHOU reports when he was asked what happened, Longoria revealed he had been shot two days before. He told authorities it happened at a gas station in another town and claimed he didn't know who pulled the trigger, or why.

He was given a tetanus shot at a hospital and taken to jail where he was charged with manufacturing/delivering a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He was also cited for having a weapon while being a felon.
