Unsafe speed leads to a double fatality crash

KRMG has learned two people are dead, after a single-vehicle crash in Pittsburg County yesterday afternoon.

The crash happened three miles east of Canadian.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol say a 2007 Chevrolet was heading southbound on a county road, when the vehicle left the roadway multiple times.  The vehicle then overturned and came to a rest on it's top.

A third passenger, 43-year-old Jeremy Robinson,  was ejected around 15 feet.  He was also declared dead at the scene.

We're told 39-year-old Malinda Arthur and two passengers were pinned.  Arthur was later declared dead at the scene.

Troopers say the other two passengers are listed in stable condition.

OHP lists unsafe speed for the roadway as the cause for the crash.
