Two-year-old in toy car pulled over by cop

No ticket was handed out

2-year-old Jaxon Arbuckle loves riding in his Little Tykes car. Mom Ashley says Jaxon never gets tired of making his way up and down the sidewalks near their home.

So when Ashley saw a police officer finishing up a wreck in their neighborhood, she had an idea. “I waited for him to finish up with his incident report and asked him if he wouldn't mind turning the lights on and pulling Jaxon over.”

Ashley told Yahoo Parenting officer Bill Mayo happily agreed. "I saw this little boy who looked to be not much older than my son," Mayo began. "He was running up and down the street like my son does, and he just made me smile."

The pair exchanged hugs and high fives, “he kept looking up at me like I was some kind of Transformer,” Mayo smiled. “He kept smiling.”

When Mayo turned on his police cruiser lights Jaxon gushed, “look, Mommy, look!’”

Ashley couldn’t say enough about what Mayo did. “He went above and beyond just so my son would smile,” she noted. “I think it’s important to see that police officers aren’t people you should be scared of. They are the people you should turn to for help.”
