Teenager injured in auto-pedestrian collision

TPD: Boy may have been riding skateboard on 81 Street

Tulsa police are looking for a vehicle and a driver after a 16-year old boy is the victim of an auto-pedestrian collision near 81st and Memorial.

Tulsa police tell us the boy was hit around 11:45 p.m. Monday near 7000 East 81 Street.

"A brown pickup truck was traveling westbound on 81st Street collided with the child throwing him onto the shoulder of the roadway," said TPD Corporal R. W. Solomon.

He was hospitalized in critical condition.

We're told the boy may have been on a skate board when he was hit.
