A college student has repotedly admitted that he killed his mother during an argument over his bad grades.
The student has allegedly confessed.
The woman's body was found in the backyard of a home in the town of Mentone, about 75 miles east of Huntsville.
The 22-year-old reported biology major is being held without bail.
