School bus driver found with synthetic marijuana

We have updated information regarding a Midwest City-Del City school district bus driver, who was involved in multiple wrecks earlier this week.

Newsok.com reports Oklahoma City police announced on Wednesday, they found several packages of synthetic marijuana inside 58-year-old Odis Pitts' pockets.  Officers also discovered a smoking pipe with freshly burnt synthetic marijuana.

Pitts is accused of being behind the wheel of a bus, and causing four crashes.  The bus ended up on an embankment.

Luckily, there were no students inside the bus.

Pitts won't be driving a school bus again, anytime soon.  The district confirmed to Newsok.com, Pitts has been let go.

As of Wednesday, Pitts remains inside the Oklahoma County Jail.
