Plants from closed Tulsa Walmart donated to city

The inventory was being cleared out Thursday morning

The Walmart at Admiral and Memorial in Tulsa was one of five that suddenly closed this month.

It’s been more than a week now, but there’s still a lot of activity at the store.

Customers who use the pharmacy can still go in for that reason, but only for a little while longer.

Employees said they were being donated to the City of Tulsa to be planted around town.

KRMG stopped by the store on Thursday and saw plants and flowers from the outdoor section being loaded up.

The store closed for what Walmart describes as ‘plumbing issues.’ As of Thursday, Walmart had not applied for any permits for plumbing work at the store.
