New go-kart track promises high-speed, indoor fun

Speeds up to 45mph with electric go karts

Xtreme Racing & Entertainment is under construction at 71st and Elm in Broken Arrow.

Co-owner and General Manager Jason Wright told KRMG the facility is the first of its kind in the area.

“Out of all the tracks in the country, indoor karting tracks, there are only maybe four right now that have asphalt.” Wright said.

“Forty-five miles an hour, about an inch and a half off the ground.” Wright noted.

The karts are electric, but it’s probably unlike any electric kart you’ve ever been on. They’re much faster than any others in town.

You’ll be geared up with a full harness, seatbelt and helmet.

As for the ‘entertainment’ part of the name, the facility will have private meeting rooms and two simulators. One is a shooting simulator and the other is a sports simulator.

More details to come when the facility opens in late May or early June.
