Missing grandmother found after days in a ravine

She survived by drinking soda and oily water dripping from car

A 75-year-old woman left her home in Texas for a reunion in McAlester, Oklahoma, Friday and didn’t return home.

Wanda Mobley’s family members reported her missing and started off on her route to try and find her.

Relatives noticed a road sign down on the side of a rural road in north Texas Sunday.

The metal ended up being part of Mobley’s car in a ravine.

Off into the distance they spotted a small piece of metal glistening in the sun.

Mobley was lying on the ground with injuries.

She tells her family that she survived by drinking Sprite that she happened to have in the car. Mobley also used the water dripping of her car to stay hydrated.

Mobley was taken to a hospital in Wichita Falls to be treated for bruises and a fractured lower back.
