Google to show soaring through trees in Amazon jungle

Explores remote part of Amazon rainforest

The "Street View" option in Google Maps mostly provides panoramic views of cities and neighborhoods photographed by car-mounted cameras, but Google also has found creative ways to depict exotic locations where there are no roads.

It's teamed up with environmental protection group Amazonas Sustainable Foundation to explore a remote part of an Amazon rainforest with a device called a Trekker that carried the camera on a zip line through the trees.
