Former judge gets busted for drugs, sex crimes

A former Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes judge was arrested on Tuesday in El Reno, in connection with illegal drugs and sexual crimes against a child.

Newsok.com reports 62-year-old Lehman Coyote is accused of molesting children on several occasions.  This was said to have happened in Oklahoma and other states during vacations.

Investigators became aware of the allegations when they were contacted by family members back in December of 2014.

“I can’t tell you how proud I am of these girls for having the courage to come forward. I hope their brave actions will encourage other possible victims to come forward,” said Randall Edwards, Canadian County sheriff, in a news release.

Deputies also found 18 firearms and a "large quantity of drugs" inside his home when they arrested him.

Coyote has posted a $270,000 bond.
