Tulsa wrestling coach arrested for assault

Being held on $10,000 bond

Memorial High School wrestling coach Timothy Aaron Littrell was arrested around 4:30 Sunday morning for Domestic Assault & Battery By Strangulation.

The victim, Littrell's girlfriend, reported she and Littrell got into a fight at a bar in downtown Tulsa and that he tried to push her out of the truck while they were driving on the highway. When they got to their apartment, the woman stated Littrell pulled her out of the truck when she refused to get out. He then put his knee on her chest and strangled her until she lost consciousness.

The victim said when she woke up he was dragging her up the stairs to the apartment and she lost consciousness again.

Littrell was booked into the Tulsa County Jail Sunday at 5:43 a.m. Littrell’s court date is set for May 11.

She said she was able to get her pistol from her bedroom and leave the apartment before calling police.
