We've learned a 4-year-old girl was taken to the OU Medical Center on Thursday with a broken jaw, and bruises to her arms and face.
Oklahoma City police tell Newsok.com the girls mother, Amber Herzberg, told them her child had fallen out of bed.
Doctors examined the girl and disagreed with Herzberg. They told officers the girl's jaw fracture was more consistent with a fight between two adults.
Police say Herzberg was then taken into custody. She faces a count of child abuse.
