19-year-old arrested in connection with homicide, robbery

Sun, Aug 13, 2017 — We told you about a home invasion in Claremore back in May, where Dakota Rex was shot and killed.

On Saturday, 19-year-old Kairee Cooks was arrested in connection with the homicide.

“Through investigation, Cooks was identified as one of the three suspects that particpated in the drug-related home invasion robbery that resulted in Rex’s shooting death,” police said.

He has been booked into the Rogers County Jail.
