Worlds strongest beer now on sale

Snake Venom stronger than vodka, tequila

The amount of alcohol in the strong beer is a whopping 67.5% alcohol by volume.

The beer comes from a Scottish brewery and they claim it is indeed “the world's strongest."

Foodbeast gives us some perspective by comparing "Snake Venom" to liquors like vodka, whiskey, or tequila.

The Daily Record reports Lewis Shand and John McKenzie of Banffshire Brewery are the men behind the new brew.

Those drinks comes in at about 40% alcohol as opposed to the nearly 70% in Snake Venom.

The two already held the world record for the most potent beer with their “Armageddon” which checked in at 65% alcohol.

But they say after selling over 6,000 bottles they got complaints that it needed to be stronger so they obliged and concocted the new mix.

Snake Venom comes with a warning about how much you drink as well as a BIG price tag.

You can buy the beer here but be careful, a single bottle will set you back about $80.
