A boyfriend is charged with murder after his girlfriend's roommate found her dead on Aug. 17.
Garfield County court records show Jason Lowe was charged with first-degree murder on Friday.
The roommate told officers the couple had been fighting the previous night. Police say Lowe had scratches to his back, neck, and face.
Officers didn't mention how the suspect is accused of killing his girlfriend.
Lowe is currently in the Garfield County Jail. A judge denied bond.
