A family discovers a woman's body on a dead-end road in Guthrie Friday morning.
Logan County deputies say 21-year-old Timothy Slawson was then taken into custody for the death Friday evening.
The family was taking a walk when they found the unnamed victim. Deputies say it's believed her body was dumped there.
He's currently in the Logan County Jail.
This isn't the first time Slawson has found himself in trouble with the law. Deputies say he was busted in July of 2012 for a series of burglaries.
