Woman accused of trying to stab an employee during theft

A woman walks into a Fiesta Mart, walks behind the counter, and attempts to steal cigarettes Thursday morning.

Tulsa police say a clerk stopped Caitlyn Ford, but then things got worse.

She's accused of pulling a knife and trying to stab him multiple times.

The employee was able to keep her at bay until officers arrived at the store located near 21st and Garnett.

Ford was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County Jail.  She faces one count of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of petit larceny under $50.
