Wintry weather returns to Green Country

Winter weather advisory is posted for parts of northeast Oklahoma

So long 70, hello snow.

Tulsa's weather has transitioned from warm and windy to cold and wet.

A winter weather advisory is  in effect for portions of Green Country.

News on 6 Meteorologist Travis Meyer says, "We have a chance of snow and sleet, and that means some slick roads, bridges and overpasses from Tulsa to the north and east.  We're looking at not a whole lot of accumulation in Tulsa, but we could have a couple of inches near Tulsa, with a little more snow possible north and east of Tulsa."

Osage, Washington, Nowata, Craig, Ottawa, Delaware, and Adair are among the counties under the winter weather advisory.

Meyer says Sunday will be cold and blustery, with highs in the mid 30's.

Sunday night's low will plummet to 15.
