Wind Advistory in effect for Tulsa beginning Sunday night

National Weather Service out of Tulsa has issued a Wind Advisory for Tulsa and surrounding counties, beginning Sunday night.

The advisory is in effect from 10 p.m., until 6 a.m. Monday.

As a new arctic cold front moves into the area, strong north winds are expected to gust from 40 to 50 MPH.

NWS say the strongest winds should be north of Interstate 44.

The strong winds could make driving difficult.  NWS say this is especially true for "high profile vehicles."

Our next arctic cold front will also bring back cold temperatures.  NWS say the high for Monday will only be near 23 degrees.
