Wes Welker trades Tom Brady for Peyton Manning

Former Heritage Hall star heads to Denver

That’s exactly what Wes Welker just did.

The All-Pro wide receiver signed a $12 million dollar deal with the Denver Broncos.

That takes Brady’s favorite target away but he won’t have to wait long to see him again.

Former great John Elway is Denver’s executive vice president of football operations, he tweeted “excited to have Wes join the Broncos. His production and toughness will be a great asset!”

Welker and the Broncos will visit Gillette Stadium to take on the Patriots this upcoming year.

Back in 2011, New England offered a guaranteed two-year, $16 million contract. He turned it down and decided to play out his deal.
