Video: Spacewalk repairs leak on the International Space Station

NASA satisfied with results

Now the astronauts have replaced the pump during a spacewalk today.

Christopher Cassidy and Thomas Marshburn says they didn't see anything that looked like a problem and no new no new leaks have sprung up since the pump was replaced.

NASA says they were pleased with the mission and NBC News reports getting the space walk scheduled and executed in two days may have been the fastest turnaround in NASA history.

The leak was discovered when little snowflakes were seen floating around the pump.

Those ice pieces were frozen ammonia and worried both mission control and the inhabitants of the station.

NASA says they will keep an eye on the fix to make sure things are stable.
