Video: Baby goat born with eight legs

Farmer hoping to keep it for a pet

The farmer who helped deliver the kid shook his head as he said, “I counted his legs, and I thought I was seeing things.”

"Then I called my neighbor to make sure that I am not crazy," Zoran Paparic told The Daily Mail.

Veterinarians think the baby goat is a combination of what would have been a healthy animal and an under-developed sibling. That theory is further enhanced by the fact it has both male and female reproductive organs.

But doctors in Croatia aren’t optimistic. They say chances are the animal won’t survive longer than a week.

Paparic calls it a "a miracle of nature," and says he’s “praying for the little goat to live,” so he can keep it as a pet.
