Veterans eat free, get other discounts on Veterans Day

Veterans get plenty of free food and other discounts this Veterans Day.

Veterans get a free 10” pizza at all Top That Pizza locations if they are in uniform or have a valid military ID.

Oklahoma Technical College will be giving free haircuts to all Veterans November 11 and 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Oklahoma Technical College located at 44th and Sheridan. “We thought this would be a great way to show our support for the people who serve our country. We appreciate every one of them,” said Jessica Render, Engagement Specialist for the college. Cuts will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Tulsa District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is waving day use fees for military veterans, active and reserve component service members, and their families at Tulsa District recreation areas on Veterans Day. It covers fees for boat launch ramps and swimming beaches. The waiver does not apply to camping and camping-related services, or fees for specialized facilities such as group picnic shelters.

The Tulsa Zoo will offer half-price admission to all veterans and active military personnel and their immediate families. Just show a military ID to receive the discount. Families with currently deployed family members receive free entry with proof of deployment.

At Applebee’s, veterans and active duty military can choose from a free signature Thank You Meal menu that includes a 7 oz. House Sirloin, Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger, Three-Cheese Chicken & Sundried Tomato Penne, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Double Crunch Shrimp, Chicken Tenders Platter or Oriental Chicken Salad. Must present valid Veteran’s form of identification or be in uniform.

Chili's is offering veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal from a special Veterans Day menu on Monday Nov. 11th. Must show proof of military service.

Einstein Bagels ism from 5:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering all active, inactive and retired military personnel a Free Signature or Classic Bagel and Shmear, or any other topping. No purchase is necessary.

Veterans and active duty military get a free burger at Fox and Hound.

Hooters invites all veterans and current servicemen and women to a free meal, up to $10.99 in value with any drink purchase, by presenting a military ID or proof of service at any Hooters location across the country.

All veterans, active and retired members of the Armed Forces are invited to visit Twin Peaks for lunch or dinner and select any meal from the Twin Peaks menu.

Veterans and active duty military service members are invited have lunch on T.G.I Friday’s this Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

At Red Robin, all Veterans and active duty military get a free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on Monday, Nov. 11.

All veterans and military active duty at Olive Garden will receive a free meal from a special menu on Veterans Day. Also, all November current military service members and their families get 10% off in honor of Military Appreciation Month.

All veterans and active duty military will receive a free entree from the “Create Your Own Combo menu” from On The Border.

Military personnel and veterans at Outback Steakhouse get a Free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage. Must have valid identification. Plus, get 10% off all meals from Nov. 12 through Dec. 31.
