Vehicle goes into creek, people rush to save her

Sat, April 22, 2017 — It's another example of how Oklahomans always help their neighbors.

A handful of Good Samaritans and Broken Arrow firefighters helped rescue a woman trapped in a flooded car on Friday.  It happened near Kenosha between 209th and Oneta Road.

One of the Good Samaritans tells us he had to act.

Despite flipping her car into the creek, the unidentified female driver is expected to be okay.

“Someone was in need and needed out of that car quick,” he said.  “There is no way I could have seen that happen and driven away from it.”
