U.S. Attorney General to meet with Cherokee tribal leaders

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr will meet with Cherokee tribal leaders in Tahlequah Wednesday.

Barr will lead a roundtable discussion with tribal leadership and U.S. Attorneys Trent Shores and Brian Kuester.

Topics of discussion should be wide ranging and could include U.S.-tribal relations and some of the challenges a recent Supreme Court ruling has impacted tribal citizens who commit crimes.
