Upset ex-boyfriend throws knife at police officer

A man was taken into custody late Thursday night, after being accused of threatening his ex-girlfriend and attacking an officer.

Tulsa police say they received the call around 11 p.m.

The incident started when Ihsan Locklyn's ex-girlfriend asked him to leave her apartment near East 31st and North Cincinnati.  She told officers he began to threaten her, so she called 911.

Police say he then grabbed a knife and began to threaten officers.

When officers arrived at the scene, Locklyn began yelling that he had no where else to go.

Before anything could happen, he ran inside the apartment.  A short standoff ensued.

Eventually, he came out and threw a knife at an officer.

The knife hit an unidentified officer in his leg.  No word on the severity of the officer's injuries.

Locklyn was taken into custody after being shot by pepper spray pellets.

He's currently in the Tulsa County Jail.
