No students at Hale Junior High School have required hospitalization after a student brought prescription drugs to school.

EMSA paramedics were called to the scene after a student brought a prescription anti-depressant, believed to be Abilify, to school and passed it out to classmates who ingested the pills.

Tulsa Public Schools spokesman Chris Payne tells KRMG that a total of 9 students took the pills. 2 other students received pills but chose to notify school officials instead of taking the pills.

TPS officials tell KRMG that the student who brought the pills to school as well as the ones who took the pills face discimplinary action.
