UPDATE: Shooting suspect turns himself in

The victim isn't expected to survive

UPDATE: Police tell KRMG the suspect, Keith Mack, turned himself in at the Tulsa jail around 6:30 Friday night.

KRMG has learned the identity of the victim from Thursday night’s shooting at an apartment near Apache and Harvard.

Cops are searching for the suspect, Keith Mack, after an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest Friday afternoon.

Keande Love is in the hospital in a vegetative state and police do not expect him to survive.

Originally, police say the witnesses in the area weren’t cooperating.

However, a TPD statement obtained by KRMG, says, “Many in the community are credited with coming forward with information that allowed the Police Department to issue the warrant.”

The statement from the head of the homicide unit also reads, “As of this writing we have exhausted all leads in locating Mack and we are releasing his name and photograph and appealing for him to turn himself in or someone else turning him in to authorities. “

Investigators haven’t released a motive.

They will say the victim and shooter appeared to know each other and were seen walking together earlier in the evening.
