A fiery crash killed a woman and shut down a major road in Sapulpa early Thursday.
Police say the southbound vehicle driven by the woman crossed the median and smashed into a northbound car.
It happened about 8:20 a.m. near New Sapulpa Road and W. 91st Street.
Her car briefly caught fire, and by the time they got her out she had died.
Traffic investigators are still working to determine the speeds involved and the cause of the wreck.
The road was shut down for about three hours.
