Update: Oklahoma prison escapee captured

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol tells us an inmate who walked away from the Jess Dunn Correctional facility in Taft on Saturday evening has been captured.

40-year old Dave O'Malley was captured near Haskell, Oklahoma, Sunday evening.

O"Malley has convictions for burglary and robbery.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol hopes the public can help them track down a prison escapee.

40-year old Dave O'Malley escaped from the Jess Dunn Correctional Facility in Taft Saturday.

Department of Corrections records indicate O'Malley has convictions for burglary, robbery and drugs.

The OHP says O'Malley "walked away" from the prison.

He should be considered dangerous, according to OHP Lt. George Brown.

O'Malley stands five feet, nine inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has blue eyes and brown hair.

His arrest records show he has a tatto of a naked lady on his left arm and a cowboy skeleton on his right arm.

He was last seen at the prison about 8:30 p.m Saturday.

O'Malley is from the Tulsa area and authorities think he may head this way.

Troopers ask that anyone with information about his location dial *55 on their mobile phone, or call 911.
