Update: Amber Alert has been canceled, children found safe

Update:  Cherokee County deputies canceled the Amber Alert around 12:10 a.m.

Deputies say the children have been found and are safe.  They haven't released where they were located.

Tyler Mouse has been taken into custody.

Anybody with information regarding their whereabouts is asked to call 911 right away.

Original: An Amber Alert was issued Friday night out of Cherokee County just after 11 p.m.

Deputies say they're looking for 27-year-old Tyler Mouse.  He's said to be driving a 1998 Chrysler with the license plate number 565EXZ.

He took 3-year-old Tye Mouse and 15-month-old Aiden Mouse from a home in Tahlequah Friday night around 6:15 p.m.

Tye was wearing a blue shirt, khaki pants, and cowboy boots.  Aiden had on a red shirt with blue stripes, a Disney Cars Jacket, and a diaper.

The suspect is a known drug user, and is accused of making threats of harm in front of the children at the time of the abduction.

Deputies believe they may be headed to the Manford, Jennings area.  He could also be going to the Chanute, Kansas area.
