Unemployment numbers rise throughout the state

According to a new report by the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, unemployment has risen in 75 of the state's 77 counties.

Still, things remained solid in the Tulsa area.

The report states the Tulsa metro stood at 5.9 percent.

Oklahoma is getting hit hard in the Southeastern region.  Latimer County has the worst unemployment at 9.2 percent and Latimer County is second at 8.9 percent.

Things continue to be a little bit better in the Oklahoma City area.  The report shows the OKC metro unemployment rate is at 5.4 percent.

Ellis County has the best unemployment rate at 2.7 percent.
