Two suspects accused in Tulsa cold case

TULSA — Attorney General Mike Hunter says DNA technology advances allowed prosecutors to link a man and woman to the case of a man found tied up and beaten inside a Tulsa hotel room more than 35 years ago.

First-degree murder charges were filed Friday

Erlene Gayle Lee, of Texas, and Willie Moore, of Wyoming, are now suspects in the 1983 murder of Anthony Baltes.

Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler declined to elaborate on the DNA evidence, saying he looks forward to presenting it in court.

Investigators believe robbery was the motive.
