Two juveniles shot in altercation near 7th and Garnett

Tulsa Police say an argument led to gunfire among at least three people, leaving two teenage boys shot in the head.

They were taken to a hospital and amazingly, they are both expected to recover, police say.

The exact circumstances that led up the shooting are unclear, but police say it was not random and that all the people involved had some prior experience with each other that prompted the argument.

Police say they don't ordinarily see this kind of trouble in the neighborhood.

The shooting happened around 4:30pm Thursday near 7th Place and 115th East Avenue.

One of the three people involved is still at large.

Police recovered at least 12 shell casings at the scene.
