A judge handed down two life sentences Monday for a man convicted of two murders at an electronics store in Tulsa.
Willie Wise, 22, was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder May 7 of this year.
Prosecutors say he and Jeremy Foster, 24, ambushed Scott Norman, 34, at a midtown Tulsa Best Buy store in July of 2012.
The D.A.'s office decided not to seek the death penalty in the case, and the jury recommended life without parole for Wise.
A bystander, Wesley Brown, 58, was inside the store when the gunfire erupted just outside, and was struck and killed by a stray round.
Judge William Musseman concurred, and after reading victim impact statements from Brown's three sisters and his mother, handed down the two consecutive life sentences.
Foster's trial is set for June 16.
Investigators say Wise was the one who actually pulled the trigger the day of the murders.
