Tulsa State Fair begins in 3 weeks

Rides are getting ready for assembly on the fairgrounds midway

The Tulsa State Fair starts in three weeks from today, and trucks are starting to drop off all the parts for the midway rides.

The rides and the exhibit hall activities were all missing last year because of Covid, which meant Tulsa County missed out on a big chunk of normal revenue from the fair.

“It’s definitely a huge step forward, and it’s going to have a different economic impact than last year. Overall the Tulsa State Fair has an economic impact of over $50 million for Tulsa County and the surrounding communities,” said Expo Square COO Amanda Blair.

The fair runs from September 30th to October 10th.

This year’s theme is “11 Days of Awesome.”
