Tulsa robbery suspects get away, victim arrested

A 44-year-old armed robbery victim had a very bad Saturday in Tulsa.

First, Francisco Macias-Gonzalez was ambushed by two men and robbed at gunpoint near East Tecumseh and North Sheridan. Police say the suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash, before leaving the scene in a nearby black Chevy Impala 4-door vehicle.

The situation changed dramatically for Macias-Gonzalez once officers arrived.

A good description of the suspects hasn’t been released.  We do know both suspects were wearing all black including ski masks and hoodies.

“During this investigation officers discovered the victim , Macias, had an outstanding felony warrant in Tulsa County for distribution of a controlled substance,” police said.  “He was arrested on that warrant and transported to jail.”

Anyone with information regarding the robbery suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
