Tulsa professors leave China ahead of coronavirus scare

The Tulsa couple moved to China in 2018 to teach International Law at Northwest University. They were on vacation in the Philippines when they got a message from a colleague that a new disease was spreading and maybe they shouldn’t come back.

The two decided to return to Oklahoma instead, leaving all of their belongings in their home in China. Their friends are all under quarantine in China.

They were supposed to be there teaching classes but now cannot go back, so they hope to teach via the internet until they can return.
