Update
The Tulsa Police Special Operations Team responded to the scene at about 2 p.m. Tuesday after a witness told police that a woman was inside the house with a man who was armed with a gun.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Mike Parsons said, "Members of the Special Operations Team entered the residence and eventually found him hiding in the attic and he complied and he was taken into custody without further incident."
The woman was able to get out of the house safely.
Police entered the house at about 9:45 p.m.
We're told the suspect 20-year old Marquise Edwards was taken to the Tulsa County jail.
Edwards had felony warrants out for his arrest and was wanted on burglary, robbery and forgery charges.
He is being held in the Tulsa County jail on $353,650 in bonds.
The Tulsa Police Department was called to a home near 11th and Lewis Ave. around 5:00 Tuesday evening.
Police tell FOX23 a disturbance call came from inside the house.
Officers say the man inside the home had three felony warrants and access to weapons.
They fired pepper rounds trying to get the suspect outside.
Some nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.
