Tulsa police search for woman after man is stabbed early Thursday

Victim able to talk to police when they arrived

Tulsa police are looking for a woman who may have stabbed a man early Thursday at the Red River apartments near 71st and Riverside Drive.

It happened about 1:23 a.m. at 1528 East 71st Place.

News On 6 photojournalist Gary Kruse tells us that the victim who was stabbed in the side was able to talk to police when they arrived.

There was no one at the victim's apartment when police arrived.

After the stabbing, he walked down the stairs from his apartment to a landing, then walked up the stairs on the other side of the landing to a neighbor's apartment to seek help.

It's unclear what the relationship is between the victim and the woman that police are seeking.
