Tulsa Police nab theft suspects at industrial plant

Business has been broken into multiple times for copper, equipment

Two men are behind bars after police say they broke into a north Tulsa manufacturing facility.

Police say they used a K-9 officer and the police helicopter to track down Christopher Burr and Paul Stevenson at the building owned by a company called Hemphill near Pine and Harvard.

The plant manager says the building has been burglarized multiple times recently and that thieves have stolen roughly one-million dollars worth of copper and equipment.

Jails records say that Burr is homeless and that Stevenson lives at a Sand Springs address.

Both men were booked on complaints of 2nd degree burglary and possession of burglary tools.
