Tulsa police make arrest in theft of rare classic car

1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500 still not located

Tulsa police have made an arrest in the theft of a rare 1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500.

The car was stolen January 7th from a locked shop in the Pearl District, according to police.

Tulsa Police Auto Theft detectives arrested Nicholas Chamberlin on Tuesday in connection with the theft of the car.

Police said the car has not been located.

Chamberlin is charged with Larceny of an Automobile and 2nd Degree Burglary in the case.

Investigators are asking for anyone with information about the car’s location to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.

Detectives are still investigating and anticipate more arrests in the near future.
