Tulsa Police looking for rightful owner of stolen sports memorabilia

Items recovered in stolen car last month

If you’re missing a Michael Jordan Washington Wizards jersey, or a Steve McNair bobblehead, Tulsa Police would like to talk to you.

Those are just a couple of stolen sports memorabilia that police recovered a few weeks ago in a stolen car.

And they’d like to get them back to the rightful owner.

He says they’re only disclosing two of the items that were recovered, so if someone can describe the other item that haven’t been disclosed publicly, police will know they’ve found the true owner.

“This could be a storage unit burglary where somebody hadn’t been to their unit in several months, so hopefully this will encourage people that may have these type of items to go check their stuff, whether it’s in a house, storage unit, whatever,” said Tulsa Police Lt. Tim Means.

So if the jersey and bobblehead sound familiar to you, you can call police at 596-COPS or send an email to burglary@cityoftulsa.org
