Tulsa food trucks turn out at Guthrie Green despite intense heat

You think it’s hot outside, step into one of those trucks

It’s now a tradition to see food trucks lining the streets in downtown Tulsa on Wednesdays.

Today was no exception, even with the excessive heat. KRMG spoke with several of the vendors hard at work down at Guthrie Green and they all said they wouldn’t miss it for anything.

“Kids come out to the splash pad, families come out. They want to come out and have a cool place and get a bite to eat the same time.” Jamie and Angela from the Dog House truck said.

“It’s madness… It’s complete fun though.” Savannah from Plum Delicious said. “Everyone is having a great time, everyone takes care of each other.” She added.

Others told us it’s like one big family with all the trucks out there together.

The crowd was still plenty big too even with the heat. You can find Tulsa’s collection of food trucks in downtown Tulsa each Wednesday from about 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. for lunch.
