TULSA'S ELECTION HEADQUARTERS: Jenks voters asked to approve $14 million bond issues

Jenks voters head to the polls today.

They're being asked to approve a $14 million bond package.

Roughly $12 million will be used to widen streets and intersections. The rest will go to upgrade the sewer system.

Polls are open from 7 A.M. until 7 P.M.

Jenks Mayor Lonnie Sims says the city's growth has driven the demand for upgrades. Jenks' population has doubled in the last 10 years.
