It got a lot of people's attention last week, including Tulsa City Councilors: A city ordinance that says taxi cab drivers can have guns and EXPLOSIVES in their cabs.
And not surprisingly perhaps, Councilors will look at revising that ordinance at their regular weekly meeting tonight and changing the language so that explosives are prohibited in taxi cabs.
And they plan to put guns under state rules.
Some cab drivers say they'd like to carry a gun while on duty, because some drivers been robbed, beaten up, even killed.
