Tulsa construction project reaches major milestone

The I-244 project at the Arkansas River been giving drivers headaches for a few years.

ODOT tells KRMG crews hope to shift traffic onto the new eastbound bridge over the river as soon as mid-September.

Other aspects of the project won't be quite finished though. Crews still have work to finish on the on and off ramps at 17^th Street as well as work underneath the bridge.
