Tulsa Central Library ‘likely’ to reopen this week

TULSA, Okla. — The first floor of the Tulsa Central Library is supposed to reopen some time this week.

The library has been closed since a fire started in the woman’s bathroom Wednesday.

The cafe will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the rest of the week until the rest of the building reopens.

A Facebook post made by the library says it's "likely" the floor will reopen this week.

The first floor will allow people to get to the Children’s department, computers, audio lab, media, magazines and Starbucks.
